Project Gabriel

Pregnant? Think you might be?

Project  Gabriel provides practical support and assistance to pregnant women and to young families through an ecumenical network of volunteers in over 50 churches in 20 counties of West Virginia.

The Project Gabriel sign outside St. Monica's is a statement that we see in each baby a fresh expression of God's unending love for each and every child.

Through Project Gabriel we provide direct help to pregnant women and families with young children in need. Volunteers in the parish, called "Gabriel Angels", are ready to offer a loving and non-judgmental mentoring relationship to those who call.  There are no financial or eligibility requirements to meet to receive our services.  We are willing to reach out to those in need and provide a continuing relationship with no time limits.
