Rev. Eric Hall

Father Eric was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and lived many different places here and abroad as part of a Navy family. After studying engineering at Virginia Tech, and at the College of Alameda, he received a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Theology from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, and attended Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. 

Fr. Eric was ordained to the priesthood on June 2, 2001. Seven years later he has become pastor of both St. Monica Parish and St. Francis Xavier Parish. He was formerly the pastor at Sacred Heart Parish in Huntington, and at the Newman Center at Marshall University. Before that, he served as associate pastor at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral in Charleston, and at St. Michael's Parish in Wheeling.

He likes to cook, plays the guitar (and racquetball), and says his favorite part of being a priest is the Liturgy itself.
