“The
Writings of St. Paul”
This year, "the Year of St. Paul", we are once again using the De Sales Program (A Catholic Adult Video Education Series) to study the writings of the Apostle to the Gentiles.
The series is
composed of eight ninety-minute sessions, which include video presentations as
well as reflection and discussion periods. The sessions are designed for adult
study groups and are led by volunteer facilitators.
Two groups are being formed, and you're invited to join either one. One meets after the 8:30am Mass on Sundays, and the other meets Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
To register, contact: secy@stmonicaparish.org
The sessions in
this series are:
1. Paul: The paradox of being a Jew for the Gentiles
2. A look at the church only 20 years after the resurrection
3. To be or not to be…Jewish
4. Some practical problems of early Christians’ life in the ‘Big City’
5. Paul’s letter of tears
6. Paul’s very best, but history’s time bomb
